Ever thought about running your own Dungeons & Dragons game but not quite sure where to start? Maybe you’ve been curious about what happens behind the DM screen… or maybe your group keeps looking at you when someone asks, “So… who’s going to run the next adventure?”
During this session, Maarten — an experienced teacher and proud forever DM — will guide you through the essentials of running a game. You’ll learn how to start your first session, prepare a simple adventure, keep the story moving, and handle the wonderfully chaotic creativity of players. Expect practical tips, helpful advice, and a few fun stories from behind the DM screen.
Whether you want to run games for friends, try your hand at storytelling, or simply understand the mysterious art of DM’ing, this masterclass will help you get started with confidence.
